Meet Hayley
Hi, I’m Hayley (she/her), a licensed clinical social worker and licensure supervisor here at Chosen Path Collective. I offer a client-led, affirming space rooted in person-centered, DBT, existential, and feminist approaches. I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent folks in navigating identity, relationships, and the emotional weight of living in a world shaped by systemic pressure. When I’m not in session, I’m usually hanging out with my cats or deep in some niche internet rabbit hole. I show up with curiosity, humor, and deep respect for autonomy, both as a therapist and as a human.
Exploring Identity & Living Authentically
I find deep meaning in supporting LGBTQIA+ folks as they navigate questions surrounding gender, sexuality, and relationships. Whether you’re questioning, coming out, navigating embodiment, or figuring out what feels most like you, I offer a space that’s affirming and completely free of pressure. I also support folks pursuing gender-affirming medical care, including writing letters for surgery, and holding space for the emotional and systemic weight that can come with that process. My work is grounded in a deep respect for autonomy and a belief that you don’t need to justify who you are to anyone, including me.
Relational Transitions & Redefining Self
I love supporting people through the tender, disorienting parts of breakups, divorce, and big relational shifts. These moments have a way of unraveling old versions of ourselves and that can feel terrifying and full of possibility. I help clients move through grief, anger, relief, and everything in between while staying connected to their values and hopes. You don’t need to have it all figured out. Together we can start sorting through the pieces and see what still fits.
Neurodivergence
For neurodivergent folks, the pressure to constantly mask, over-function, or keep up can be exhausting. I work with clients who are trying to unlearn the idea that their needs are too much or that their worth is tied to productivity. Whether you’re navigating burnout, exploring accommodations, or trying to live more authentically in a world that wasn’t built for your brain, I offer a space where you don’t have to explain yourself. We’ll focus on what actually works for you.
Setting Boundaries & Reclaiming Autonomy
If you’ve ever felt guilty for saying no, struggled with people-pleasing, or found yourself stuck in family dynamics that don’t feel good anymore, you’re not alone. I support clients in exploring where those patterns came from and how to slowly shift them without shame. I use both skills-based approaches and reflective work to help you build boundaries that are both doable and meaningful. Together we’ll sort through what’s actually yours to hold and what you’ve been carrying out of habit or obligation.
Supporting Emerging Adults Through Transitions
I especially enjoy working with people in their late teens, twenties, and thirties who are figuring out who they are and what they actually want from life. Maybe you’re feeling stuck between versions of yourself, questioning the path you’re on, or trying to make sense of how to be a person in the world while everything feels uncertain. These years can come with pressure to have it all figured out, and I offer a space where you don’t have to perform certainty you don’t feel.
When we meet, the focus is on what matters most to you whether it’s something that came up five minutes before a session or a long-term goal we’re working on. I follow your lead and support you in exploring whatever feels important. Sessions are relaxed and open, without a set agenda or abundance of worksheets, and I share from my own experience when it feels helpful. There’s no pressure or expectations but it helps if you come ready to engage with whatever feels important in the moment. We’ll move at your pace and create space for you to figure things out in a way that works.
Hayley Outside of the Therapy Room:
Outside of the therapy room, I’m usually hanging out with my cats and partner, enjoying absurdist comedies à la Tim Robinson and Nathan Fielder, or reading domestic thrillers like it’s my job. I’m also chronically online; my screen time is alarming, but at least I’m up to date on every niche internet trend!
