Billing Questions or Support

Billing Process Overview

Session Payments
Payments are processed on the next business day after your session.

Accepted Payment Methods
We accept credit or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express). We are not able to accept checks, cash, or money orders.

Insurance & Denied Claims
If your insurance doesn’t cover a claim, you are responsible for the remaining balance. Because insurance processing can take time, we may not be notified of a denied claim for several weeks. To avoid unexpected charges, please let us know right away if your coverage or plan changes.

Outstanding Balances
If your balance reaches $150 or more, sessions may be paused until the balance is paid or a payment plan is in place.

Copays Can Change
Your copay may change if your plan resets or updates – for example, at the start of a new calendar year or if you switch plans. If you ever have questions about what you’ll owe for sessions, we recommend calling the customer service number on the back of your insurance card. They can give you the most accurate and up-to-date information about your mental health benefits.

Making Updates

If you ever need to update your insurance information, just fill out this HIPAA-compliant Insurance Information Form. Your response will go directly to Joanna and she’ll verify your benefits and update your account for you.

If you ever need to update your payment on file, please email Joanna at billing@chosenpathcollective.com – she can add a Payment Authorization Form to your client portal for you.
