Meet Blake

What draws me to being a therapist is the beauty in witnessing people show up as their true selves – and knowing I get to hold space for that. One of my lifelong best friends once told me, ‘to be known is to be loved,’ and that has stuck with me. As someone who has learned to navigate life with an ADHD brain and a big heart, I know how healing it is to feel truly seen. I have no performative ‘therapist voice’ – simply genuine and relatable connection. Whether we are laughing, crying, swearing, sorting through old pain, or just shooting the shit; I get to walk alongside the people I work with as they make sense of their patterns, reclaim their voice, and build something better for themselves.

ADHD

As a therapist who was diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood, I know what it is like to feel ‘too much,’ ‘not enough,’ or like your brain just works a little differently. I bring that lived experience into the space with openness, humor, and zero judgment. ADHD doesn’t get in the way of the work. We just do it with more creativity, flexibility, and probably a few tangents (that somehow end up making perfect sense). That being said, I also bring structure, skill, and clinical precision where it counts, especially when it comes to diagnosing and assessing. I take care to approach these processes with clarity, competency, and cultural awareness, while making sure you feel seen, understood, and actively involved every step of the way.

Parenting

As a therapist working with parenting issues, I show up with warmth, honesty, and a deep respect for how messy, beautiful, and downright exhausting raising other humans can be. I am not here to judge your choices or hand you a Pinterest-perfect plan. Whether you’re dealing with tantrums, teen eye-rolls, parenting guilt, or just trying to hold it together between meetings and mealtimes, we’ll talk about it all. I bring curiosity, compassion, and a sense of humor to the process, because parenting is serious work – but that doesn’t mean it has to feel clinical or stiff. Together, we’ll unpack what’s working, what’s not, and how your own upbringing and life experiences shape the way you show up for your kids. It is not about being a ‘perfect parent.’ Finding a way to be present, connected, and real in a way that feels sustainable for you and safe for your small human.

Relationship Issues

As a therapist working with individuals on relationship issues, I show up with a lot of heart, a good dose of humor (and probably, definitely, some swearing), and zero interest in playing the blame game. We’ll explore how you show up in relationships – romantic, platonic, familial – and where that wiring comes from. I offer space to be fully heard without judgment, showing up as an unbiased, grounded listener and the kind of big sister who’s not afraid to give you some tough love when you need it, energy. Together, we’ll work to untangle old patterns, make space for your needs, and figure out what healthy connection actually looks and feels like for you. I bring compassion, clarity, and a deep belief that vulnerability is not weakness – it is a roadmap. This is not about fixing you; it’s about reconnecting you with the parts of yourself that know how to love, hold boundaries, and stay rooted in your own worth.

If you decide to work with me, know this: I am here to work alongside you, not ahead of you. I’ll ask the hard questions, help you connect the dots, and offer insight when you need it, but you will always be the expert on your own life. You set the pace, choose the focus, and decide where we go. I’m not here to steer the ship; I’m here to ride shotgun, snacks in hand, reminding you how capable you are of getting where you want to go.

Therapy with me is collaborative, flexible, and always centered on what feels meaningful to you. I can offer tools, reflection, a soft place to unpack the hard stuff, and I’ll gently (or firmly) hold you accountable to the goals you set. You bring the map, I’ll help you read it. Together we’ll figure out the route that feels right for your life.

Blake Outside of the Therapy Room:

Outside of therapy, you can find me chasing after my two daughters, giving my husband an undeserved hard time, and negotiating couch space with my cats. I’m a full-on BookTok and Taylor Swift girly – give me a smutty romantasy, a devastating bridge and a morally grey character and I’m happy. My friendships are full of memes, dark humor, and daily check-ins on the slow collapse of late stage capitalism. I have no time for dictators, fascism, or the patriarchy, and believe joy, rage, and well-placed sarcasm are all forms of resistance.
